Then the Spotify channel went into a screensaver mode (not the RoKu screensaver this is particular to the Spotify channel). If I would know, that I'm going away for several hours I would just turn off my monitor, or shut down the computer or use the fix you've provided me with The described behavior defeats the real purpose of a screen saver! The screen saver should activate in instances, where you accidentally go away from your keyboard for a longer period than intended. It is not that bad, but still visible on a very white background. Since the built-in Spotify App is removed from Samsungs Legacy operating system on some 2015 and prior devices, playing Spotify music on these Samsung Smart TVs will be no longer available. ![]() Anyway, when I return I will have a slight screen burn. My computer won't go to auto-sleep (this is good! We want neither video nor music being stopped.) nor turn on the screensaver (this is bad! A video should prevent the screensaver, music only shouldn't). But sometimes I will get distracted by various situations and won't return to my workplace for hours. Eventually I leave my workplace for some reason but intend to come back quickly. What happens to me often is: I'm working at my computer whilst listening to music with Spotify. If your Quick Menu doesn't have a Music section, scroll down to Customize, select Menu Items, and check the. A dedicated Spotify section should then appear in the Quick Menu. Head to the Music section in the Quick Menu, then select a song to play.
